🌳 Planting Seeds. Growing Faith

A Note from Keirstin:
We moved recently to a beautiful older neighborhood… full of gorgeous homes and huge trees. The trees catch my eye every day as I am walking the dog. Most days, a new tree stands out to me.

I have thought a lot about these trees. The people who purposefully planted them, intentionally watered them, and likely never enjoyed their shade. I have considered their root systems and how each branches off in its own unique way.

It has made me think of our walk as believers… The people in our lives who planted Gospel seeds and those who nourished our roots through discipleship. I have considered the branches of these gorgeous trees to be similar to the opportunities we have taken to invest in others.

When the Lord blessed us with a child, He gave each of us the unique opportunity to plant Gospel seeds in their lives and to intentionally nourish their faith through the regular reading of the Word and living out our faith.

May the decisions we make today… tomorrow… next week… and the weeks to come, make an eternal impact in the lives of our children for His glory.

Let’s make Sunday morning a Saturday night decision together.

In order for us to confidently and effectively teach the Word of the Lord to our children, we must consistently study the Bible.

A Prayer for Your Family

Lord, allow our hearts to desire to dwell in Your Word daily. Root our lives in Your Word, that we may teach it to our children diligently. Give us boldness and confidence in our parenting journey.
