Inaugural Issue
A Note from Keirstin:
Thank you for joining TNB Collective. I am excited to have another avenue to encourage you in your role as primary faith trainer.
The goal of TNB Collective is to send a quick word of encouragement and a challenge that all ties together a core value of mine… “Sunday morning is a Saturday night decision.”
Every Saturday night is an opportunity to prepare our hearts and homes for what matters most… worshiping Jesus together. Small, intentional steps now can lead to meaningful Sunday mornings and a lifelong faith in our children.
Let’s make Sunday morning a Saturday night decision together.
Weekly Challenge
Lay out everyone’s Sunday outfit before bed tonight.
If you have a girly girl, like I do, consider a “Head-to-Toe” rule. This includes all the accessories for Sunday morning, as well as shoes! This might eliminate any last-minute indecisiveness in the morning.
Family Conversation Starter
How would you retell the main theme of today’s message to someone who wasn’t at church today?
One simple question can lead to deeper conversation.
Scripture for the Week
“Listen, Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. These words that I am giving you today are to be in your heart. Repeat them to your children. Talk about them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Bind them as a sign on your hand and let them be a symbol on your forehead. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your city gates.”
Deuteronomy 6:4-9
Discipleship of our children is intentional, not accidental.
A Prayer for Your Family
Lord, thank You for the gift of this day of rest and worship. Help us prepare our hearts tonight and fix our eyes on You tomorrow. May our home be filled with Your presence and our family be united in You. Amen.
